American Pride Associates is a privately-owned,
non-profit organization designed to assist American Military Veterans and their families who are disabled and/or of low income status, unable to meet current cost-of-living expenses. Its Founder and President, LaMont M. Grodeck, a disabled U.S army Veteran, tired of fighting the government to receive disability benefits, decided to create funds for himself and others in similar situations by making American flag pins fashioned from glass beads and safety pins.. It is our mission to assist U.S. Military Veterans and their families, as well as exemplify pride in our country.
American Pride Associates works year round to provide supplies and services to Veterans and the Homeless. We provide daily living supplies such as clothes, sleeping bags, personal care items, knit hats, scarves and gloves and more. We work at soup kitchens year round and provide medical care and support to our clients such as blood pressure screenings, aiding the elderly with medications and ensuring clients attend medical appointments.
